Veteran journalist Cokie Roberts, who joined NPR in 1978 and left an indelible imprint on the growing network with her coverage of Washington politics before later going to ABC News, died earlier this week at the age of 75. NPR Special: A Remembrance of Cokie Roberts airs Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 8 p.m. on AM 1370.
