The fallout from the Trump administration’s policy of separating families at the border deepens by the day. The president remains steadfast. He says it is up to Congress to fix a broken immigration system. But pictures of the children in cages and the sounds of them crying has moved law makers from both parties to call out  the policy. They say it is unconscionable act from a heartless administration.

Joshua Johnson and his guests will examine what caused this crisis. This special program asks whether Trump’s family separation policy threatens to engulf an embattled president who says the immigration issue should be resolved with ‘heart’ and ‘compassion.
