The High Falls Business Association has once again teamed up with the Hochstein School of Music & Dance and WXXI to present Hochstein at High Falls, a noontime summer concert series. The series includes ten outdoor concerts Thursday afternoons at 12:10 pm during June, July and August. Weather permitting, they will be held in the Granite Mills Park near the Pont de Rennes Bridge and will feature a diverse mix of musical artists and instructors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and lunch, or pick up a great lunch at area restaurants (like La Luna and Fina's Cafe). Each performance runs approximately 50 minutes.

Lost Wax is a recently formed collective of players from various groups in Rochester (Haewa, Mosaic Foundation, Megalodonis, Got Herb). Their music, while difficult to describe, is not difficult to feel – a poly-rhythmic, Afro-beat, soul, funk fusion topped with lush vocals and driving melodies. The nine-piece band features Brendon Caroselli, drums and cymbals; Akshay Bashin, electric keyboard; Alivia Ruiz, vocals, synthesizer, percussion; Sunny Zaman, bass guitar; Michael Corey, guitar, synthesizer; Michael VanMunster, percussion; Oliver Haynes, trumpet; Anthony William, saxophone; and Will Zimmer, trombone.
