The High Falls Business Association has once again teamed up with the Hochstein School of Music & Dance and WXXI to present Hochstein at High Falls, a noontime summer concert series. The series includes ten outdoor concerts Thursday afternoons at 12:10 pm during June, July and August. Weather permitting, they will be held in the Granite Mills Park near the Pont de Rennes Bridge and will feature a diverse mix of musical artists and instructors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and lunch, or pick up a great lunch at area restaurants (like La Luna and Fina's Cafe). Each performance runs approximately 50 minutes.

Rooted in the fertile tradition of old-time fiddle music, The Brothers Blue grow a sound all their own – offering a hybrid which unites fresh, original songwriting with elements from country, bluegrass, Cajun, and Irish music. The band features Ben Haravitch, banjo, guitar, bass; Matthew Sperber, guitar and bass; and Charlie Coughlin, fiddle; with all three contributing to the vocal harmonies. Winners of Golden Link’s 2015 New Voices Emerging Artists Showcase, The Brothers Blue perform original and traditional American folk music throughout the Buffalo, Rochester, and Finger Lakes regions.
