WXXI Kids 24/7 is a TV channel and livestream dedicated to PBS KIDS programming when and where you want it.
Committed to providing educational children's programming that sparks kids' imaginations and fosters a life-long love of learning, WXXI Kids 24/7 can be found on WXXI-TV 21.4/cable channel 1277, live streaming via the WXXI Kids website and via the PBS KIDS Video App. This service builds on WXXI's commitment to provide an essential service for children, parents, teachers, and life-long learners.

Please note: WXXI-TV 21.1/cable 1221 will continue to air its children's block from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m on weekdays and mornings on the weekend. The schedule of children’s programming on WXXI-TV will be different from the WXXI Kids 24/7 channel, offering families more choices of quality educational options.

Designed to meet the needs of today’s kids, WXXI Kids 24/7 service provides learning opportunities for every child, especially those at risk, whenever and wherever they access media. The live stream experience will expand to offer an integrated games feature, enabling children to toggle between a PBS KIDS show to an activity that extends learning – all in one seamless digital experience. The live stream and games feature is grounded in research demonstrating that measurable gains in learning are achieved when children engage with PBS KIDS content on multiple platforms. The games will align with the learning goals of each educational TV series, deepening children’s involvement and supporting learning.

How do I find the WXXI Kids 24/7 Channel over the air?
The channel is available on WXXI 21.4. If you don’t automatically see the channel on your TV, you will need to rescan or autotune. Follow these step-by-step instructions:
- Press the Menu button on your converter box, converter box remote, HDTV, or HDTV remote.
- Go to Setup or Settings.
- Go to Installation or System or Channels.
- Go to Scan Channels, Program Channels, Autoscan, Autoprogram or Autotuning.
- Press Select or Enter or OK to scan.
Note: Sometimes unplugging your TV for several minutes and then replugging it back into the socket will also trigger a rescan.
Where do I find the WXXI Kids 24/7 Channel on my cable provider?
Cable – 1277. Depending on your TV, you may also see it at 21.4 on your basic cable service.
How do I watch the live stream?
Viewers can watch the WXXI Kids 24/7 live stream through WXXI Kids site: http//wxxi.org/kids/video The programs also live stream on PBSKIDS.org and on the PBS KIDS Video App, which is available to download for free from mobile sites like the Apple and Google stores. It is also on a variety of mobile devices, tablets and over-the-top platforms such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Xbox One and Chromecast.
