Fri, 11/04/2016 - 6:00pm - 7:30pm
THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD-OUT.
Calling all Buddy the Dinosaur Fans! Come explore the outdoors with your favorite Nature Tracker—Buddy the Dinosaur from PBS KIDS Dinosaur Train!
We’ll be “camping out” in WXXI’s studios for the evening—watching special episodes of Dinosaur Train, doing nature-related crafts, making take-home activities, and pretending that we’re camping out in the forest! This is event and free to families but spots are limited and reservations are required.
Please note: THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD-OUT.
Dinosaur Train embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains, while encouraging basic scientific thinking skills as the audience learns about life science, natural history and paleontology. Young viewers can join Buddy and his adoptive Pteranodon family on a whimsical voyage through prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans, as they unearth basic concepts in life science, natural history and paleontology. It airs at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on WXXI-TV.
