Catch Benny Green, one of the most exciting, hard-swinging, hard-bop pianists to emerge from Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, at 9 p.m. and then Tessa Souter at 10 p.m. Tessa Souter's award-winning voice and penchant for exploring strikingly beautiful music mostly untouched by other singers has set her apart as "one of the finest and most fearless vocalists to have emerged in recent years," according to The Boston Globe.
