Local USA presents three short documentaries featuring unique stories from emerging Latino filmmakers: The Smallest Step (William Caballero) animates 3D modeled avatars of diverse high school students against real world backdrops; Overcomers (Gabriela Lopez de Dennis) highlights two teenagers succeeding despite the odds stacked against them; and Every Girl Matters (Gloria Moran) looks at an all-girls Catholic high school with a 100 percent graduation and college acceptance rate. Airs on WXXI-World on 6/12 6:30pm
