Need to Know host Hélène Biandudi Hofer looks at the role women have played in Rochester's garment industry – in the past and in the future.

In anticipation of the February 29th premiere of Tailor Made: The Story of Rochester's Garment IndustryNeed to Know's Hélène Biandudi Hofer explores the role of women when the garment industry took root in Rochester compared to where things stand today - the 21st century role of women in fashion in Rochester. Also, Hélène looks at the decline of the Big 5 (with Hickey Freeman being the sole survivor) and custom tailor shops that emerged and still exist today - Adrian Jules. Representatives from both Hickey Freeman and Adrian Jules will be in studio. Need to Know airs Thursday, February 25 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV.
