The Rose Ensemble presents a unique seasonal program that explores ancient Christmas legends. 

The Rose Ensemble depicts ancient Christmas legends, describing a midnight blooming of all manner of plants, trees, and flowers. Theholiday concert explores this miracle of new life amid the cold of winter through mesmerizing music honoring the Madonna and Child. Features choral works by William Byrd and Jean Mouton, medieval English ballads, Spanish cantigas, and the beloved German carol, “Es ist ein Ros Entsprungen.” A Rose in Winter airs on December 15, 2015 at 12pm on Classical 91.5.
