Christmastime in New York: The Cathedral Choir of St. John the Divine at the Metropolitan Museum

From the Medieval Sculpture Hall at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cathedral Choir of St. John the Divine performs a program that spans hundreds of years and describes the story of the nativity.

Tune in to Classical 91.5 on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2pm for Christmastime in New York: The Cathedral Choir of St. John the Divine at the Metropolitan Museum.

Under the direction of Kent Tritle, the program includes settings of the "O Magnum Mysterium" text by T. L. da Victoria, Morton Lauridsen, and Francis Poulenc; works by Byrd, Biebl, and Hassler; as well as music by Eric Whitacre, Francis Poulenc, William Byrd and Morten Lauridsen.
