In May 1970, four students were shot dead at Kent State. The mayhem that followed has been called the most divisive moment in American history since the Civil War. From college campuses to the jungles of Cambodia, to the Nixon White House, The Day the 60s Died, airing Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV, returns to that turbulent spring 45 years ago.

Veterans Connections:

To draw awareness to the issues of local veterans, WXXI and the Little Theatre convened a Veterans Affairs Task Force to identify the most pressing needs and issues facing veterans and their families in the Greater Rochester area and to make recommendations about ways that WXXI/Little programming and outreach can help address those needs.
