AM 1370 is pleased to bring listeners Sound Medicine, a radio show that presents "content of consequence" in a news magazine format, Wednesday at 8 p.m. starting February 4th. The Public Radio Health News Magazine, a partnership between WXXI and WFYI in Indianapolis, explores and illuminates current news and health issues with a sense of immediacy and authority.

Host Barbara Lewis introduces you to doctors, clinicians, and research scientists from around the world.  You’ll hear regular features like cover stories, health news headlines, field reports from independent reporters around the world, first person essays on the art and science of medicine, as well as quirky observations about health and medicine that you won’t hear anywhere else. You’ll also hear “Understanding the Affordable Care Act” segments produced by WXXI News and Innovation Trail, designed to help citizens better understand Obama care.

Always curious, willing to challenge our assumptions, Sound Medicine reporting both empowers and entertains listeners. Tuning in, you’ll hear regular features like cover stories, health news headlines, field reports from independent reporters around the world, first person essays on the art and science of medicine, as well as quirky observations about health and medicine that you won’t hear anywhere else.
