This Indie harpist and vocalist teams up with other eclectic instruments to create a unique and soulful lo-fi sound.

The High Falls Business Association has once again teamed up with the Hochstein School of Music & Dance and WXXI to present Hochstein at High Falls, a noontime summer concert series. The series includes ten outdoor concerts Thursday afternoons at 12:10pm during June, July and August. Weather permitting, they will be held in the Granite Mills Park near the Pont de Rennes Bridge and will feature a diverse mix of musical artists and instructors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and lunch, or  pick up a great lunch at area restaurants (like La Luna and Fina's Cafe). Each performance runs approximately 45 minutes.

Hochstein at High Falls is on Facebook. Visit: facebook.com/hochsteinhighfalls.

The August 9 concert features Mikaela Davis. Mikaela Davis, indie harpist singer/songwriter, returns to the Hochstein at High Falls series as a trio. She’s joined by Alex Coté, drums and percussion, and Cian McCarthy, guitar and sitar. Described as "harp and voice with an eclectic instrument mix whipped into a melancholy lo-fi sound; an intricate balance of fluttering vocal folds and fingers on strings that blend effortlessly," by Red Booth owner/engineer Brian Moore.

Mikaela plays during Season 3 of WXXI's OnStage:
