Join us at the Little Theatre for two Mel Brooks' classics – "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein".
On Saturday, July 20 at 1 p.m. WXXI and the Little Theatre presents a double feature of Mel Brooks' films – Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein at the Little in its newly renovated Theatre 2. Tickets are $6 for one film, $10 for the double feature, and can be purchased now by calling WXXI at (585) 258-0252. You can also purchase tickets the day of the show at the Little box office starting at 12:30 p.m.
So join us for these two hilarious films and the chance to check out theatre 2's new renovations, including new chairs with CUP HOLDERS!
Blazing Saddles is a 1974 satirical Western comedy film directed by Mel Brooks. Starring Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder, the film was written by Brooks, Andrew Bergman, Richard Pryor, Norman Steinberg, and Al Uger, and was based on Bergman's story and draft.

Young Frankenstein is a 1974 American comedy film directed by Mel Brooks and starring Gene Wilderas the title character, a descendant of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The supporting cast includes Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Madeline Kahn, Kenneth Mars,Richard Haydn and Gene Hackman. The screenplay was written by Wilder and Brooks.
