Need to Know Rochester Arts Edition: Paley on Park Avenue
Fri, 07/12/2013 - 8:30pm
Albert Paley and WXXI Producer Brianna Byrne shares her experience producing Paley on Park Avenue: New York City.
In May WXXI launched its first web series, Paley on Park Avenue: New York City, which followed world-renowned sculptor Albert Paley as he created 13 original pieces for installation on Park Avenue in New York City as part of The Fund for Park Avenue’s Temporary Public Art Collection. In Need to Know Rochester Arts Edition: Paley on Park Avenue, airing Friday, July 12, 2013 at 8:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV, viewers will meet the producer of the series, Brianna Byrne, who shares first-hand her experience making the series, and what it was like to be in New York City for the installation.
Shot in high-definition, Paley on Park Avenue: New York City offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Albert Paley's 13 sculptures and learn the story behind them. In the Web series Paley and his team talk candidly about the work involved in this endeavor and the challenges they faced. The web-only series can be viewed here: wxxi.org/paleynyc
