Connie Deming Performs Live at the Little

Sat, 06/22/2013 - 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Connie Deming

Compared to Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Carly Simon, Connie's voice opens souls, soothes and excites those hearts, heals, and rocks.

Enjoy live music under The Freed Maxick Jazz Tent at the Little every night during the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Fest. On Saturday, June 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. enjoy a performance by Connie Deming.

Connie Deming writes, and sings, with a pop sensibility deeply rooted in the blending of styles that is American music. Her performing career has stretched across Europe and America as well, playing coffeehouses and clubs from Plymouth to San Francisco. She is presently recording her second collection of original songs. Her first, “Flights of Fancy”, reflects Connie’s sensitivity to the human condition, and finding strength in hope. Influenced early by a Mom classically trained on piano and a Dad who was a vocalist, Connie learned took their instruments and added guitar. She has sung in choirs, musical theater, and bars. Rochester music critic Jeff Spevak calls Connie, “one of Rochester’s undiscovered gems”.
