Tune in this summer for Season 2 of this hillarious series starring Martin Clunes.

Season 2 of William & Mary, airing Saturdays at 10 p.m. beginning July 14 on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 11/cable 1011), is a romantic light drama, starring Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) and Julie Graham as lonely hearts looking for love. Undertaker William Shawcross joins a dating agency in the hope of finding his ideal match, and is instantly attracted to put-upon midwife Mary Gilcrest. After a lackluster first meeting, Mary agrees to see William again and a spark ignites between the fledgling couple, only for tragedy to strike... the saga continues in Season 2.

I am having withdrawals! LOL I want more! What happened to this show? Was the last show the final one for the season? When will it return?

We played the entire series twice through. Sadly there are only 18 episodes in total. The series original run in the U.K. spanned 2003-2005. If they ever do decide to make more episodes, perhaps catching us up to what their lives are like now that the kids are all grown we would look into carrying the new season. (I have not heard of any plans to revisit the series in that fashion.) We may bring back the 18 episodes again in another time slot, but for now the series is resting.

Doctor Who - August 4th at 11pm

Doctor Who will rejoin the WXXI schedule on Saturday, August 4th at 11pm. (The Season that we just finished airing is no longer in rights, and the rights to the new season, that we are about to begin, do not start until August.) Enjoy!
