The San Francisco Opera presents Giuseppe Verdi's AIDA
The San Francisco Opera presents Giuseppe Verdi's AIDA
Sat, 08/20/2011 - 1:00pm
A bitter love triangle plays itself out against a backdrop of war and cultural oppression in this compelling tale of conflicting loyalties and forbidden passion.
Classical 91.5/FM-HD 91.5-1 is pleased to continue its summer opera broadcasts with the San Francisco Opera radio series Saturdays at 1 p.m. beginning August 20. The San Francisco Opera, the second largest opera company in North America, presents nine operas from the past season at the War Memorial Opera House. Operas include Verdi, Alfano, Gershwin, Massenet and many more.
The season kicks off with Giuseppe Verdi's AIDA on Saturday, August 20th. The grandest of grand operas, AIDA returns to San Francisco Opera for the first time in nearly a decade.

You show Aida today for the SanFrancisco Opera instead of Porgy and Bess.
Such misinformation is NOT helpful for "loyal" listeners!
