1370 Connection presents a series of special interviews with some of Rochester's most influential women.

In honor of Women's History Month, 1370 Connection brings listeners a series of interviews that salute some of Rochester's most amazing women.  The four-part series begins March 2 at 12 noon on AM 1370, and continues on March 10 at 12 noon, March 17 at 1 p.m., and March 24 at 12 noon.

Women in Politics – Wednesday, March 2 at 12 noon
Guests: Congresswoman Louise Slaughter, and Nora Bredes, Director of the Susan B. Anthony Center for Women's Leadership at the University of Rochester

Women and Business – Thursday, March 10 at 12 noon
Guests: Mary C. (Kitty) Van Bortel, President of Van Bortel Subaru, Ford and Used Car Center; Marie Kenton, President of Ketmar Development Corporation; Sandy Parker, President and CEO of Rochester Business Alliance; and Carin Colon, Executive Director of Executive Programs at the Simon School of Business, University of Rochester.

Women in Music – Thursday, March 17 at 1 p.m.
Guests: Dr. Sylvie Beaudette, Artistic Director of the Women in Music Festival and Assistant Professor of Chamber Music at the Eastman School of Music; Eun Mi Ko, Doctoral candidate in Piano Performance at the Eastman School of Music and Assistant Director of the Women in Music Festival, and Rebecca Smithorn, Founder/Director of Ad Hoc Orchestra
