Young musicians are you ready for your big break?

If you think you’ve got what it takes to perform on the popular NPR radio show From the Top, enter a solo classical performance video to win this chance of a lifetime!

The winner perform live on the stage of Zankel Hall at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Contestants must be between the ages of 8-18 and must have parental permission. Entries due by November 18th at midnight.

Here are some of the details:

- Musicians ages 8-18 (under 13 must be entered by a parent) submit a video of a solo classical performance between now and November 18th.

- Judges from Carnegie Hall and From the Top will review all entries and select a minimum of ten finalists for the public voting stage.

- Between November 29th and December 14th, finalists will be posted online and the public will be invited to vote for their favorite performances by clicking the thumbs-up button (vote tallies will be hidden from public view).

- The contestant with the most votes will be named the Grand Prize winner and will be selected to perform on From the Top’s radio show and appear in a special Family Concert hosted by Christopher O’Riley at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall. In addition, From the Top and Carnegie Hall will select several runners-up to perform alongside the Grand Prize Winner at the Carnegie Hall concert.
