eTown Listening Party in honor of Sample Soap

Please join us as we celebrate Sample Soap, a local non-profit company that will receive eTown's E-Chievement Award during the Monday night broadcast.

eTown, heard on WRUR-FM 88.5 Monday nights at 7, is an exciting weekly radio broadcast that  features performances from many of today's top musical artists as well as conversation and information about our communities and our environment. One of the show's most popular segments is the E-Chievement Award. Listeners from around the country send in tales of remarkable individuals who are working hard to make a positive difference in their communities and beyond. On Monday, August 16 at 7 p.m. the local non-profit organization Sample Soap will be presented with the E-Chievement Award for their work in the Rochester community. To celebrate, WXXI and Sample Soap are hosting a listening party on August 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at WXXI's Studios (280 State Street).
