The evening begins with the story of Churchill’s decision to sink the French fleet followed by a three part biography of Churchill's extraordinary life.

Secrets of the Dead "Churchill's Deadly Decision" airs Friday, August 3, 2012 at 6 p.m. followed immediately by Churchill "Destiny, The Lion's Roar, and The Last Prize" at 7 p.m. on WXXI World (cable 524/DT21.2).

Secrets of the Dead "Churhill's Deadly Decision" reveals the darkest side of Britain's Finest Hour. Some call his decision a turning point in the war; others call it a terrible betrayal and a war crime.
