A look at different HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment practices on different continents.

For nearly 30 years, the AIDS epidemic has ravaged lives and nations around the world. "AIDS: The Politics of Prevention," airing Sunday, January 10 at 10 p.m. on AM 1370/FM-HD91.5-2, diagnoses the practice of prevention and treatment in South Africa and Brazil. These two countries are afflicted with the same disease, but each has pursued very different prescriptions. The program also examines procedures behind the Bush administration's controversial Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
