Be More Award Celebration

Do you know someone that makes a difference in our community by “being more”? If so, this is the award for them. Be More Awards are designed to celebrate and recognize unsung heroes and heroic efforts of those in the Rochester community. Any individual, group, or organization that makes a difference in our community qualifies for nomination.

When Winners Will Be Announced

Winners will be announced at a special dessert reception on Thursday, October 29 at 7 p.m. at WXXI Studios, 280 State Street in Rochester. Nominators and nominees will be personally invited by phone, and will receive an invitation in the mail. WXXI members are also invited to attend the awards ceremony. Tickets for the general public are just $10. Member reservations and ticket sales can be made by calling (585) 258-0200.
