EOS 1624 Computer Camp for Blind Youth

Wednesday and Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Cheryl Cumings founded a Boston-based organization that runs programs for blind youth and young adults.

As summer camp season approaches, hosts Pete and Nancy explore a summer computer camp opportunity for kids with vision loss.

Computers are very accessible to the visually impaired.  Moreover, those with a knowledge of computers and computer programming are highly desired in today’s work force.  Hosts Nancy and Peter Torpey talk with Cheryl Cumings and Rich Caloggero about a computer camp for blind youth they are organizing to motivate students and introduce them to these skills.
