Wild Kratts has a wide range of ways to extend the creature fun with these additional learning resources.
Each PBS KIDS series offers connected learning activities and resources. WXXI Kids has pulled together a list of watchable and doable resources connected to PBS KIDS Wild Kratts. We've also looked to our partners and other experts for quality resources that help learners find out more about animals, habitats, ecosystems, animal adaptations, extinction, identification and classification, and more.
Watch
- Tune into WXXI's Learn At Home brodcast.
- Explore the Wild Kratts PBS LearningMedia Collection, students can watch video clips and learn animal factoids in the following categories: Live-Action Segments, Animal Behaviors, Animal Adaptations & Characteristics, Classification, Ecosystems, Extinction, and Teamwork.
Do
- Play fun Wild Kratts adventure online games. Try Animal Match, Baby Animal Rescue, or Capture the Fishmobiles!
- Explore different creatures and their habits in the Creaturepedia
- Try these simple, at-home learning crafts and activities to extend what your child is learning from Wild Kratts: Egg Carton Turtles, Craft a Nature Dragonfly, and Craft a Color-Changing Chameleon.
- Print out a Flatt Kratts and take Chris and Martin with you on your creature adventuring!
- Print out a Wild Kratts Nature Journal or a Nature Cat Bird Journal to use when exploring the outdoors or design your own!
