On July 20, 1969 Apollo 11 landed on the moon and we all heard that famous statement, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Classical 91.5 is inviting you to share in the music and memories of the anniversary.

WXXI is celebrating the 50th anniversary on all of our services. Walking on the Moon! Not the Police song, but the actual event! Classical 91.5 is inviting you to share your memories. We'll be looking back with your moonwalk memories, and gazing skyward with music from July 14 through July 20, which is the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s moonwalk. We’d love to hear your memories of that day—just send them to classical@wxxi.org.
