You are the public radio champions!

Your friends at WXXI are tremendously grateful for the outpouring of support for public radio this week during our annual February membership campaign.  In a few short days, 1,326 listeners pledged more than $155,000, exceeding our goal by $5,000.  You are amazing!  Thank you!

From the Top and Musical Math with Oliver Hagen

Oliver Hagen was in high school in New York City when he got to play on stage at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall for a taping of the show From The Top.  He’s now a conductor and pianist, pursuing a doctorate at the Eastman School of Music. He recently spoke with Mona Seghatoleslami about the From the Top experience and some other musical experiences.

Meltdown! Mornings this week on Classical 91.5

First of all, please allow me to say thank you to all the listeners who sent in cards and notes over the holidays.  Getting up day after day in the winter is a terrific challenge, and your support and enthusiasm for fantastic music on the radio is a constant source of inspiration!
