Now in it's fifth season, Carnegie Hall Live is a 13-week series from the 2015-2016 season, premiering on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. WQXR’s Jeff Spurgeon serves as broadcast host, presenting highlights and conversations with some of the world’s best performers and ensembles  in this specially-curated series from the Live! season.

Sir Simon Rattle, opens Carnegie Hall’s 2014–2015 season in a thrilling concert featuring the Berlin Philharmonic and violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter.

Carnegie Hall Live welcomes the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America for the last broadcast of the season as they play Tan Dun, Beethoven, Berlioz, and Bizet.

Carnegie Hall Live welcomes the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic and Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra to its halls this month.  Plus, pianist Yuja Wang, who recently performed in Rochester with the RPO wraps up the month.

Carnegie Hall Live kicks off July with The Monteverdi Choir, and finishes the month with the National Youth Orchestra of the Unites States of America, which features two Rochester Musicians - violinist Helen Wong, and violist Martine Thomas.
