Hear the Chicago Symphony Orchestra perform Arnold Schoenberg's landmark 1912 melodrama Pierrot Lunaire. Based on 12 French poems of the same name, this piece features a singer half-singing, half-speaking in a technique called Sprechstimme. You can hear this work on the November 5th broadcast.
