Frankly, my dear . . .

. . . Scarlett, this West Bloomfield, New York beauty, LOVES public radio.

I love meeting listeners in person, and this week I had the privilege of having lunch with long-time WXXI-FM listener Robert Hughes.  (Scarlett is his beautiful Irish setter, named for another rare beauty.) Bob's been enjoying and supporting Classical 91.5 since the 1970’s.

“Scarlett” is a rescue (our fourth). “Scarlett” is the name she came with. (A “rescue Irish Setter” is an Irish Setter rescued from a bad home; e.g. abusive or a puppy-mill. [Scarlett was from a failed backyard breeder.] By getting a rescue-dog, we avoid puppydom, but the dog is often messed up. —Scarlett isn't bad.)
