Death of a Peep
By Brenda Tremblay ~ Posted Sun, 05/01/2011 - 6:13pm
Last week, Mike Carnahan put a leftover Easter peep in the microwave after hearing the suggestion on Classical 91.5 that a nuked peep might squeal before imploding... It hadn’t worked for me (maybe my microwave is too loud?) but Mike’s peep screamed and expired. He offered this proof. The question is, what piece of music would best accompany the ensuing funeral service?
Here’s what’s one this week early in the mornings on Classical 91.5.

(Daria plays Mozart’s Concerto in A Major, soprano Claire Boling sings Exsultate Jubilate.) Concert is 5/6, 7:30 at 1050 East Avenue, Rochester, NY.
