Later in the hour, we'll talk to Maude Barlow, national chairperson of the Council of Canadians, about her speaking tour calling for more attention to the potential crisis of low water levels in the Great Lakes, which comes to Rochester April 25.

He'll join us from Washington to talk about his upcoming talk with Louise Slaughter, "Transit Talks," which will address issues ranging from high-speed rail to bicycle and pedestrian transportation in his hometown of Portland.

Kate Bennett, president of the RMSC, joins us to talk about the final weekend of “Race: Are We So Different” and what the community has learned. Then, a weekend arts preview with directors from the Rochester International Film Festival and festival director Josephine Perini, and students from the School of the Arts production of “Avenue Q.” SOTA assistant principal Alan Tirre and “Avenue Q: School Edition” artistic director Lorie Dewey will be our guests for that segment along with the students.

Retired Family Court judge Anthony Sciolino, a Catholic deacon, joins us to talk about his controversial new book, “The Holocaust, the Church and the Law of Unintended Consequences” and the role of the Catholic Church leading up to the Holocaust.
