RIT Professors Ann Howard, Senior Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Tamar Carroll and Assistant Professor of History in the College of Liberal Arts.

Students and staff have been working with family farmers from 10 local farms conducting interviews and touring to better understand the impact farming has on the local community, as well as the importance of preserving space in the county for these farms. They have also spoken with the farmers about how farming has changed locally, their struggles, environmental impacts on their farms and how farming is part of the local, social fabric of our society. The group will present their findings.
