October Updates

Sundays at 7pm – Sierra Center Stage – Starting October 4th

Extraordinary musicians in exhilarating live performances, interspersed with artist interviews. This series showcases the exceptional talent of diverse, non-mainstream musicians who, although Grammy-winning or Grammy-nominated artists, operate just below the radar of the commercial music industry. The programs also feature guest appearances and interviews with artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Sammy Hagar, and Chris Cain. These are the first four programs of concerts from an ongoing series videotaped in the Northern California community of Chico, a university town nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills. The mission of the series is to provide extraordinary music to public television viewers and an alternative venue for these great performers to be seen by discriminating viewers who appreciate Blues, Worldbeat, Jazz, and other forms of roots music.
