December Updates

Saturday, December 5th at 11am – Fit Kids, Healthy Families
"FIT KIDS, HEALTHY FAMILIES" is a half-hour program that focuses on the critical threat to children's health posed by childhood obesity. The fast-paced program provides information on how and why childhood obesity has risen to become a major issue. The program also provides valuable information to children and parents on making wise nutritional and exercise choices to help insure a lifetime of healthy habits.

We will continue with Hannah Help Me! the following week.  (2nd pass of the series.)

Weekdays at 3pm – Sid the Science Kid (Starting November 30th)
"Sid the Science Kid" uses comedy to celebrate children's natural curiosity about science and explores their "Why?" questions in everyday life. It features the energetic and inquisitive five-year-old Sid, who tackles the ideas that preschoolers find fascinating (Why do bananas go "bad"? How does my juice box straw work? How does a bird fly without a plane?). In each episode, viewers meet Sid's friends and family who help him find the answers to these questions.

Saturdays at 3pm – Animalia
Alex and Zoe visit the extraordinary land of Animalia, a spectacular place inhabited by talking animals from the pages of Graeme Base's classic book of the same name. Mysterious events have undermined the very fabric of Animalian civilization, and Alex, Zoe and their new best friends, G'Bubu and Iggy (a huge green gorilla and a small but heroic iguana), will do everything they can to restore peace and order to Animalia.

Sundays at 3pm – Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps
Based on the original best-selling children's book series by author Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig, Angelina BallerinaTM The Next Steps follows the now 8-year-old Angelina as she embarks on the next stage in her life at a performing arts school, Camembert Academy. This new series finds Angelina making new friends and experiencing various forms of music and dance including ballet, modern, tap, jazz, opera, ballroom, and hip hop, as well as ethnic music and dance from around the world. In addition, each episode includes Camembert's Shining Stars, a live-action interstitial featuring talented young performers who demonstrate their love of music and dance.
