Cammy Derking

Morning Keynote Speaker: Cammy Derking
“Discover Your Everyday Super Heroes”
Sponsored by The National Speaking of Women’s Health Foundation

Keynote speaker Cammy Derking will inspire, encourage and motivate you to “Discover Your Super Everyday Heroes!” Cammy will share with you the qualities super heroes possess. The attributes are important to know – so that you can recognize the super hero characteristics in others and develop them within yourself. She will teach you how to leverage your super heroes, and ways you can become the best possible “Everyday Super Hero” to your circle of friends.

Cammy Dierking has spent the last 25 years in front of TV cameras.  In the 1980’s, she was one of the first female Sports Anchors in the country, and Cammy has spent the past 20 years as a News Anchor in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Cammy has completed 10 marathons, and even an IRONMAN triathlon.  She is very active in the community and does motivational speaking on topics ranging from Girls and Sports, to the Power of a Positive Attitude. 
 

 

Evelyn Resh

Afternoon Keynote Speaker: Evelyn Resh, MPH, CNM “Women’s Health & Sexuality” Sponsored by WXXI

Is there a relationship between sexuality and wellness? This informative, relaxed and often humorous lecture by Evelyn Resh, a clinical specialist and educator in women’s health and sexuality, reveals the most common complaints women have regarding sexual dissatisfaction and disinterest. Discover ways to improve your own sex life and sexual confidence.

Evelyn takes a fresh, lively approach to sexuality and spiritual aspects of sexual fulfillment at any age. She is warm, good humored and open about sex and sensuality, and has a talent for making others feel comfortable with often hard-to-discuss subjects. Evelyn is an advanced practice nurse and certified nurse-midwife who continues in clinical practice. She has a clinical background in OB/GYN and integrative and preventive medicine and holds a Master’s of Public Health degree. Her special interests include sexual health and aging, increasing awareness and integration of sensual pleasures, and helping women and men maintain life-long interest in sexual intimacy. Evelyn has given numerous national presentations on women’s health, sexuality for a variety of groups. She is a requested presenter and keynote speaker at Speaking of Women’s Health conferences, and has appeared frequently on radio programs such as the Joan Hamburg Show on WOR-Radio and on Internet radio. Additionally, Evelyn presented at the first Massachusetts Conference for Women and at the International Confederation of Midwives Triennial Congress in Vienna and Norway. She is currently working on her first book, Raising Aphrodite: Parenting Sexually Healthy Teenage Girls, scheduled for release in spring 2009.
