90.3 FM WXXY in Houghton broadcasts a program schedule that includes Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Classical Music. After a number of meetings with the Houghton Community Advisory Board to finalize the schedule, and the addition of a new digital receiver to the transmitter, many listeners in the Houghton area are able to hear NPR news magazines for the first time.
