The Issue
- A special two part Need to Know takes a look at land use,
development and the effect of the way we use the land.
On Friday June 25th, watch for stories about the way our population has changed, and
shifted over the last 20 years. Talk to families moving in to the city- and families
moving out.
- Take a trip to The South Wedge, where neighbors are looking at
controversial ways to attract new families to their neighborhood.
- Talk to experts from the Genesee Transportation Council about
traffic congestion and development.
- On July 2nd, Need to Know takes a look at
Smartgrowth. What legislation is on the table- how are individual communities trying to
control growth and what’s likely to pass in Albany?
