The
Kenton's
Charlie
and Marie Kenton usually build other peoples dreams. When
they decided to build their own year-round residence they
took their years of building experience and several years
of living on the lake into account to build their dream
home. The design has literally made the lake one of the
rooms of the house. The entire family played a role in the
design of one of Canandaigua's Great Homes. Step through
the front door of their lake home and that's exactly the
feeling you get...home.

The
Castle
It was a gift to a new bride. This remarkably maintained
cottage was built in the 1800s by a Dr. Charles Worthington
of Geneva as a gift to his wife. Today it belongs to the
Ward Family and remains in much the same condition as the
day it was built. Step through the door and it is truly
like stepping back in time. With only minor changes for
some modern conveniences The Castle is one of the last remaining
grand cottages of the lake. It's paneling, porches and pine
paneling are simply breath-taking.
