WXXI Training Events and Professional Development Opportunities

WXXI Regional Adult Education Network, Mid-West Region Events:

The Mid-West Regional Adult Education Network is funded through a cooperative agreement with the New York State Education Department and WXXI Public Broadcasting Council. The Network is dedicated to improving the services delivered by providers of adult education, workforce development and training. It serves Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Yates, Steuben, Seneca, Chemung, and Schuyler counties. For more information about professinal develoment opportunities go to http://wxxi.org/adulted.

Online Professional Development Courses for Teachers

PBS TeacherLine provides online professional development through facilitated courses, a supportive learning community and exemplary resources. Register for online courses or set-up a course section for your district teachers, professional association or pre-service classroom. Individuals or groups may register. WXXI broadcasts many of the Annenberg/CPB Teacher Professional Development programs for use by teachers and schools for their professional development. See monthly newsletters for schedules.
