Friday, September 10 at 1 p.m. – Backstage Pass with Caroline Leonardelli
(Rochester, NY) – Backstage Pass, WXXI's live monthly radio series that features local and visiting musicians, invites Canadian harpist Caroline Leonardelli to the Henry Epstein Studio to perform and share stories about her work with host Julia Figueras. It will air Friday, September 10 at 1 p.m. on Classical 91.5/FM-HD91.5-1, and again on Sunday, September 12 at 2 p.m.
Leonardelli, who counts harp legend Lily Laskine among her teachers, has just released a new CD, El Dorado. She will talk with Figueras about her illustrious teacher, the recording experience, and more.
Backstage Pass is a live, hour-long radio series that is committed to highlighting performing artists – giving listeners the opportunity to hear local and visiting artists perform live. The series is made possible in part by a grant from the Gouvernet Arts Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation.
