Sunday,
March 27 at 10 p.m. – America Abroad: European Dis-Union
(Rochester, NY) – America Abroad explores the evolution of the European Union over sixty years, from a basic agreement on sharing coal and steel amongst a few states after World War II, to an economic and political force that comprises twenty-seven European states. American Abroad: European Dis-Union airs Sunday, March 27 at 10 p.m. on AM 1370/FM-HD 91.5-2.
Host Jacki Lyden heads to Poland to find out how a relatively new member of the European Union feels about being part of the European club. And the crew travels to Germany, once the engine of EU integration, but increasingly disenchanted after bailing out spendthrift neighbors.
