Thursday, December 23 at 10 a.m. – RPO A Classic Christmas
(Rochester, NY) – On December 12, 2009 WXXI recorded the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's holiday performance at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. Music Director Christopher Seaman conducted the RPO and the Rochester Oratorio Society in a special concert of classics including Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Hansel and Gretel, Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, Vaughan Williams' Ring Out Ye Crystal Spheres and other festive favorites. RPO A Classic Christmas airs Thursday, December 23 at 10 a.m. and again on Saturday, December 25 at 4 p.m. on Classical 91.5/FM-HD91.5-1.
